Philosophies is a new concert created for tenor Benjamin Alumni, featuring works composed by Hana Ajiashvili to texts that celebrate enlightened ideas of historical poets. Placing the newly composed works alongside, the evening of song follows a human soul looking to the wisdom of those that have come before to find a spiritual and rational equilibrium. Created with librettist Royce Vavrek, Philosophies is a journey from darkness to illumination, a contemporary presentation that excavates the past to offer a path to the future.
